The area around Clifton is one of the last areas of the layout to be developed.

After months of planning, construction is starting. The track plan will include some street trackage and industrial switching. Some scenery and small buildings have already been installed. The stone wall is made from Hydrocal plaster castings that have been hand painted and assembled into long panels by Bruce.

The scope of the track work and area seemed to get away from the group. So we stepped back and re-evaluated the area. Good thing about this is it got more members involved, and now several other folks have joined in building buildings for the area. We are considering using actual industry names from the actual Clifton area.

February 2016 update- Work has again restarted from the sub roadbed level and there has been another change from the original track plan:

January 2013 update- work continues but the building layout and track plan changed from the 2009 plan.
